NACRE — Aluminium Shells | Aluminium steel Base is a bold interpretation of the NACRE collection, bringing together the natural texture of weathered steel, a vivid architectural pedestal and a softly glowing pearl of light.

The design is based on the idea of two protective shells surrounding something precious. In this edition, the expressive surface of corten steel gives the object a powerful, almost elemental appearance.

Aluminium steel Base

The characteristic surface of andoized aluminium develops its own visual identity through colour, texture and natural variation. Calm color tones make every object slightly different.

Combined with the aluminium pedestal, the material becomes even more expressive while maintaining the sculptural simplicity of NACRE.

The illuminated pearl

At the centre of the object sits a softly illuminated translucent pearl. Its warm glow contrasts with the raw steel and creates depth between the two shells.

The light is deliberately subtle. NACRE is not designed as conventional functional lighting, but as an atmospheric object that adds presence and emotion to a space.

Architectural aluminium

The aluminium pedestal creates a strong visual foundation beneath the weathered steel. It adds a contemporary colour accent while reinforcing the warm tones already present in the corten surface.

The result is both industrial and refined: a sculptural object that can stand confidently within modern architecture, concrete interiors, natural materials and expressive hospitality environments.
