Landgoed Kraaiveld brings together the character of a Dutch estate with a forward-looking vision for food, learning, wellbeing and human connection. Together, the partners are exploring how this setting can become a living environment for discovery, experience and meaningful encounters.
YourSenses contributes its approach to sensory architecture: creating a coherent interplay of lighting, audio, acoustics, materials, scent and art — always in service of the place and its people.

Our approach starts with five human senses. At Kraaiveld, their role becomes especially tangible: from fresh food and the scent of nature to acoustic comfort, changing daylight and materials you want to touch.
Smell
Herbs, gardens, fresh ingredients and the atmosphere of the estate.
Hear
Acoustic comfort, music and space for conversation or quiet reflection.
Observe
Natural light, landscape, architectural detail and the rhythm of the seasons.

Honest materials: wood, stone, glass, textiles and sculptural surfaces.

Food knowledge, local produce, the production kitchen and shared tables.
The first chapter.
Made to be experienced.
The initial concept centres on a welcoming greenhouse-style building combining a production kitchen, an information and meeting area, and a land shop. A place to explore, learn, taste and come together.
Production kitchen
Hands-on learning, preparation, food experiences and culinary collaboration, with functional lighting and a warm human atmosphere.
Experience & knowledge
Room for presentations, events and conversation, shaped by integrated lighting, architectural acoustics and considered audio.
Land shop & reception
A welcoming connection to the estate: local produce, seasonal stories, personal encounters and a thoughtful first impression.

A professor specialising in human movement science is joining the initiative to help shape the movement and vitality dimension of the Experience Centre. His international experience connects Kraaiveld with a wider perspective on movement, learning and wellbeing.

Beyond the Experience Centre.
An entire landscape to discover.
Over the coming two to three years, the wider vision envisages a landscape of circular pavilions, walking and cycling routes, water, food gardens and places for learning, movement and rest. YourSenses can help connect the physical spaces through a subtle sensory language.
